Cohabitation

29 Bedford Row has a wide range of expertise in this difficult area. We have both silks and juniors well versed in the complicated exercise of determining the interests in property rights of cohabiting couples under: the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996; common law and equitable principles; in the light of various Supreme Court decisions and in the light of Parliament’s continued failure to legislate in this area. Members of chambers have made regular contributions to both the literature and reform consultation in this area.

A set for premier league matrimonial work. This chambers can boast one of the strongest all-round reputations in family law and has a real strength in depth at both the junior and silk end.
