29 Bedford Row has a strong and long-standing commitment to public children law, with an experienced team of practitioners working in that field.

Our work covers the full range of care, placement and adoption proceedings, including the most complex and severe cases of physical and sexual abuse, and extends to local authority duties, wardship, use of the inherent jurisdiction and the impact of international children law on public children law cases. 

Our members act on behalf of parents, children, relatives, Guardians and local authorities, and have been involved in numerous reported cases – at Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court level.
