Professional Practice

Kate joined Chambers in October 2025, after successfully completing her pupillage under the supervision of Max Lewis, Amber Sheridan and Richard Tambling. 

 

Kate was involved in a wide range of family law cases during her pupillage, including high value financial remedy claims, private children law proceedings, Part III proceedings, TLATA 1996 claims and applications brought under the Family Law Act 1996. 

 

Kate now accepts instructions in all of Chambers’ practice areas.

 

Before joining Chambers as a pupil, Kate worked as a paralegal in the family law team at Payne Hicks Beach, a London-based firm ranked Tier 1 in Family in the Legal 500, assisting on financial remedy claims which involved complex asset structures, often with an international element, in addition to pre- and post- nuptial agreements and private children law matters. 

 

Kate read law at the University of Cambridge and subsequently completed the Bar Training Course at BPP with the support the Droop Scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn. Alongside her legal studies, Kate volunteered with Family Action, supporting families through change, challenge and crisis.
