Professional Practice
Caroline was previously a member of chambers from 2003 before she was appointed as a Circuit Judge in 2009. On the Bench, as in practice, she specialised in all aspects of family law. She served as the Designated Family Judge for Swindon and Wiltshire from 2021 to 2025 and also sat in the Family Division as a Deputy High Court Judge.
Caroline retired in October 2025 and continues to sit in retirement; she also continues in her role as a Commissioner of the Royal Court in Jersey, to which she was appointed in 2023.
Caroline has recently qualified as a Financial arbitrator under the MCIArb IFLA Scheme. On her return to chambers she will be accepting appointments as an arbitrator and as a private FDR evaluator.
