29 Bedford Row at the Resolution National Conference 2025

01 May 2025

We are looking forward to being part of this year’s Resolution National Conference in Birmingham on 16–17 May as one of the headline sponsors. Several of our barristers will be speaking and leading discussions on the key topics.

Workshop N - Practical tip for junior lawyers

Charlotte Trace will join Harriet Collins and Helena French from Russell-Cooke for a round table session aimed at junior practitioners, offering practical guidance on preparing for initial hearings or NCDR in financial remedy cases. The workshop will include practical tips and consider the differences in preparation for court versus preparing for NCDR when supporting your client.

“10 things I hate about you” workshop

Chaired by Nicholas Allen KC, this workshop features five barristers from 29 Bedford Row barristers and five from 1 King’s Bench Walk. They will vent their spleen by explaining the part of family law which really has to change. After that members of the audience can give their own views, and vote on the reform they most want to see happen.

The 29 Bedford Row barristers are Sassa-Ann Amaouche KC, Philip Tait, Nicholas Bennett, Charlotte Trace and Joseph Switalski.
