MR JUSTICE FRANCIS

29 Bedford Row is delighted to announce the appointment of our long-serving Head of Chambers, Nicholas Francis QC, to be a Justice of the High Court, assigned to the Family Division. The appointment of Mr Justice Francis, as he will be known, takes effect from today and is consequential to the retirement of Dame Mary Hogg DBE. The newest judge of the Division was called to the Bar in 1981, took silk in 2002, was appointed a Recorder in 2000 and has sat as a Deputy High Court Judge since 2011. Long recognised as one of the very top financial remedy silks in the country, he served as our Head of Chambers for over 14 years.
