Andrew's practice spans all aspects of contentious chancery litigation. He has a particular interest in the duties of fiduciaries and commercial agents, in shareholder disputes and in the imposition of proprietary relief - particularly following insolvency or upon the proceeds of wrongdoing. The law of estate agency, the enforcement of restrictive covenants; litigation about mortgages and guarantees, the termination and renewal of business tenancies, applications for interim rent also feature heavily in his practice, as do TLATA claims and the rights of Trustees in the matrimonial home following insolvency.

Before joining the Bar, Andrew was employed by a leading regional firm of solicitors in the South East. He has a thorough understanding of the rights and obligations of solicitors and also undertakes professional negligence work - particularly in litigation involving solicitors, surveyors, estate agents and education professionals. He has a longstanding interest in the field of public law - particularly at the interface with professional disciplinary proceedings or in the field of education. He has appeared in a number of reported cases in the field of education; in the disciplinary sphere he has appeared before the Bar Council, the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, the ICAEW and before Resolution (formerly the SFLA).
